In our click-bait, sound bite society we rarely get the whole story. "Rainman's Take" interviews incredibly interesting people and also attempts to peel back the onion of specific topics, all with the goal of getting people to think more deeply about a subject.

About rainman's take
First the name
Rainman was my callsign from my days as a Marine Corps helicopter pilot. I figured it's catchy and easy to remember. Don't ask me why I got it but I can assure you it wasn't because I can do large calculations in my head.
My "Take" is my opinions and insights into really anything that peaks my interest including; politics, current events, social issues, history and popular culture. I think you'll find the diversity of topics refreshing.
What's it all about
"Rainman's Take" is a weekly podcast airing on Thursday afternoons, to give you something to think about on your ride home.
Most episodes will be interviews with some really interesting people covering a wide variety of topics. I will also mix it up a little and sometimes use the full episode to do a deep dive on a topic. I will employ the services of my wingman, the Sage, during those discussions as we have been friends for a long time and I think you'll appreciate the back and forth.
Why should you listen
Click-bait headlines and sound bites don't cut it, and in fact I believe most are very dishonest. Unfortunately in our busy lives most people don't go much beyond what the "talking head" just mentioned, or click to read the rest of the story.
That's what I'm trying to do, take a deep dive, from many different angles from the main stream to the more controversial. I'm looking for the open mind, someone who wants to know more than just what they are being told to think or believe.
I strive to have really interesting interviews with people who can add some color and expertise to whatever it is we are discussing.
I love having spirited conversations with people who don't agree with me. I find a lot of the time, they are so "stuck" in the position or their ego doesn't allow them to even consider any angle outside of their view. Most of those people are at best misinformed and at worst ignorant of the overall picture.
If you're open to trying to find out the whole story then "Rainman's Take" is for you. My goal is to discuss the whole story to try and figure out what's really going on.
I have become very skeptical of what we are being told, and am very aware there are definite agendas at play. I'm looking to get beyond those to find out who/what is really behind the curtain.
